Someone at the venue I judge at took this power:

He took this to mean that he can copy Power Cosmic. I explain to him that the trait works as a standard wild card except he can copy opposing team abilities, he cannot copy uncopiable TAs. He still argue, mumble about it needing errata. I said it did not need to be errataed and that was my ruling.

That's how it works and it's quite clear about it. It would need to say that he can copy uncopyable team abilities to allow him to copy Power Cosmic.

Yeah sounds like that guy just couldn't admit his mistake. I'm all about the wording bandwagon but that one is straightforward. Such an amazing power.

The fact that it says he's a WILDCARD makes it clear that the only part of the rule that is different is WHO he can copy.

It's like the pieces who can Outwit TAs "as if they were powers" meaning you could not Outwit PC or Quintessence because they prevent powers from being Outwitted.
