This looks like a seriously disgusting piece. In a good way. It doesn't look broken, just worth the points. Will have to play it to be sure though. Multiattack HS then PW could debilitate teams.
I just can't wait to put an Angrirs hammer on him! Free Regen on any click when he has 2 tokens! Now...if I can't just get an updated Bastion. :)
This won't work unfortunately as he is granted free regeneration by the special defensive power, which he does not have on every click. Angrir's Hammer would only give him regeneration on every click, but not the added bonus (that's what automatic regeneration feat is for ;)).
I personally think this guy is looking like a great use of points on all playable lines. Which is really saying a lot because I generally don't find that figures with more than two starting lines are well worth playing on EACH line. Usually just 1 or 2 of them. He is certainly going to be a hot ticket item.
So I take it they didn't learn from their first mistake? Sentroid being able to use the multi attack ability for 300 points was ridiculous. Nimrod being able to use the multi attack ability AND alpha strike anywhere at anytime is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. The designers must think their gentle nurfing of damage will balance this out. The sole reason they needed to watch list damage is because they produce monsters like this. Chanos is 350 points, same as nimrod. If chanos doesn't utilize his kill box feature....he's dead in a one on one fight.
Nimrod isn't a cosmic being or a god....he's a piece of robotic junk from the future. He shouldn't be this powerful...
Department H, you said it man. Why the hell does Nimrod get this überpowerful dial?! ONLY Cosmic beings or gods should get stats and powers like those Nimrods are getting! If any Marvel character deserves multiattack it's Sentry&Void (there, I said it) certainly not this "piece of robotic junk from the future".
And for those not having any problem with this particular character getting this particular over the top, unrealistically superdupermegadial (even though paying heavily for it) - why do you play Marvel Heroclix???
This 350 point disaster is easily defeated by a not so lucky 300 point AvX Spiderman/Wolverine combo + 49 point oracle (even though its not even really needed to win).
350 point worldbreaker hulk is far superior. This would be viable only against more than one xmen/brotherhood.
Makes for a fun game to be countered and still win?
350 points for alpha striking anywhere on the board with multi attack is NOT heavily paying for it. Most colossal have to pay 1000+ points for multi attack. The 450 point Warlock doesn't have multi attack, the 350 point Thanos doesn't have multi attack, the 300 point Ziran the tester colossal doesn't have multi attack. Its bad design just like team bases.

I'm sorry....but this Nimrod piece in the right hands would destroy world breaker, spiderman and wolverine all in the same match.....

At least his alpha-strike is slightly tempered by the fact that he is only allowed to make a close or ranged attack, not an action. So he can't PW or Multiattack after zooming across the board. The outwit + 5 damage on 12 attack will certainly sting though. After that he does have two action tokens so he will have to suffer through two rounds of retaliation before being able to act again...

You clearly never read Nimrod's first few appearances. Classic Nimrod is a team-wrecker.
As far as game balance goes, I have no idea, but as far as being a good representation of the "first appearance" Nimrod, the 350 point dial is pretty much spot-on. He was soloing the X-Men + Juggernaut in his first appearance, and in his second took on nearly the full membership of the X-Men and the classic Hellfire Club at the same time and both times did really darn well.

I second this statement. I have a number of issues detailing the first few appearances of Nimrod and he handles the X-men, Juggernaut, and the Hellfire Club with relative ease.
