The Black Lantern Anti-monitor is a Con Exclusive.

The Spidey Team Base is a Con exclusive.

The differently colored Lantern Resources are Con Exclusives.

The next DC set will be Flash based.

Just saw that and came to post.

Only one of those announcements has Wizkids not being jerks. Yay for a Flash set! Boo for everything else...

If this is indeed true, anger will not be exclusive to cons.

Also, Print and Play materials cannot be sold without infringing on Wizkids IP. Not sure how this one works being as they release the PnP to the public to compensate for their errors, but apparently selling a fig with a PnP card can get lawyers sicced on you.

Any word on if the Lantern Resources will do different things, or just be different colors? If it's the former, that's just awful and a dink move on their part, if it's the latter I really don't care and think it's a VERY good move.

this is indeed frustrating... I'm so upset right now, not even Mr. Freeze's "cold puns" could "cool" me off.

How is anyone supposed to get this set without spending a ton of money? Am I supposed to give up the will to live to buy heroclix? I mean, I know I'm speculating here on my part but I've heard it through the grape vine that wizkids also wants it so there chases are harder to pull again. Apparently, the chases aren't as high on the secondary market as they would like them to be.... well maybe if they made more chases like the Phoenix Five, they wouldn't have to worry about that.

On the note of the lantern stuff... Again, this is infuriating... so not only do we have to pay $30 a month for 2 boosters.... (our store is only doing 1 booster...) (let alone if you want to play at multiple stores a month too)... they are also making another anti-monitor con exclusive that already had it's limelight and freaking lantern batteries that are going to be more expensive than the bat belt con items. If they make all the constructs exclusive too, how is anyone supposed to complete it?

If this is how is how it's going to be for future events... count me out. I can barely get the stuff I want to collect and play now, let alone continue putting my money towards things like this. I will not be participating in War of Light as I can't just can't support that method of business.

Guess I'll just keep and play what I have now... Forces of Sauron!

Aquaman? Wonder Woman?

It has to be a popular theme, because a Flash Set might need a little help.

I'd think either of those would bring some great clix in, but Wonder Woman would need to be the declared theme. I don't think Aquaman will push the sales on his own.

Alternatively, they could easily name it after an storyline, although they seem to be moving away from that. They already did Flashpoint figures, so I'd imagine that's out. What are some big Flash stories?

Well, colour me way less enthused about War of Light. I am really not fond of Con Exclusives in general, and I really was wanting a Blue Battery, and maybe a Red one. Oh well.

It's designed with Wizkids bottom line in mind.

Even though this negatively impacts stores and collectors. Can't trust a set to market itself, amirite?

Also I think its pretty messed up to announce Black Lantern Anti Monitor as part of War of Light and then pull this (Spidey not sauprised and was expected)
