10th anniversary was a nice success, a fun homage to the golden age game, breathing life into those golden oldies while also bringing in instant classics for fan-favorite characters. it left me wanting more. so what would 10th anniversary 2 look like? how about a 12th anniversary set. no subthemes for this one, just a dozen of classic characters that didn't make the first cut
power girl's absence has been felt in 'clix lately with clamor for her justice. I had previously designed her in my flash set but thought she's got enough exposure and clout to make the cut for the anniversary treatment. the classic version is an homage to lg026 and reps her time in the jli when her origin was tied with atlantis. the modern version is of her newer shoulder-pad look

my first marvel preview is of that controversial founder of the avengers, hank pym, one of their smartest with costume changes a-plenty. the morph mechanic is a fantastic representation of his varied identities, but I wanted some point diversity. since we've already gotten an homage to ic173 in chaos war, the classic in this set is an homage to the beloved sv205, showcasing him riding ants and makes a nice pairing with ffcw004 wasp while the modern version is a catch-all of his identities and shows him in his old wca doc pym togs

easily the biggest slight in dc 10th, aquaman marks the only original leaguer who's legacy wasn't at least referenced. arthur's classic dial is an homage to ht138 in his classic costume (sans trident, for a change) and makes for a great low cost bruiser (just like the original), while his modern dial is a flexed out piece wearing his short-lived aquatic cammo, since we've never seen that costume in 'clix.

today we're looking at the most prominent robotic hero in comics, the vision. his classic dial is an homage to sv061 showcasing him in his intangible glory with a classic costume transparent sculpt, while his modern is marvel now vision at his most dense. I tried for some creativity with this one and gave the modern a revert power so you could switch back to intangible in the fight. and since the recently previewed sprite/ariel from dofp are the only promotion figures that specify the removal of promotion tokens, it should be easy-peasy to promote back to the dense version with another hit (and 2 more clicks of life).

raven is presented here as the representative of the titans in a much more accessible format than in tt. her rookie is an homage to, well all the pre-carded versions (save the le), but specifically un065, and shows her in her classic attire. the modern version gives her a distinct look with her white robes.
