Hey there guys, I have a question about Stan lees trait which reads: THE CREATOR: Stan Lee possesses all keywords and team abilities that other figures on your current force possess.
This being said, would he take power cosmic (or any other non copyable TA)?
It doesn't say copy like a wild card does, it states he just posses it regardless.
Thinking of pairing him with Trinity of Sin so I can get a theme team. Then just Feat out the rest of the 39 points lol
Also, for a theme team to work, do all characters need the keyword or say in my case here, I have 39 points left over (in a 500 point game). Could I use people that do not possess the keyword? Or would that negate the theme team? Thanks guys!

As that is a promotional piece, you will never get an official answer, but yes he would.

I hope you understand that Stan Lee is not actually tournament legal.
That being said, if your venue house rules his legality, then he would be able to possess the Power Cosmic/Quintessence team abilities of friendly characters.
In order to be a Theme Team, all figures on your force must possess the keyword.

I figured that haha but right now I don't really have a venue. Just playing with friends. Anything goes as long as it follows the core rule book.

Color me surprised. We can get official answers on these now! Sweet!
I've got some questions on Morgan Spurlock.

NECA/Wizkids Presents: The Greatest Figure Ever Sold: Morgan Spurlock modifies his attack value by +2 when attacking a figure worth $3 or more. (Argue among yourselves over the value of a specific figure.)
- Is that US dollars?
- We're instructed to argue, but there are not rules on resolving the argument. Can we get a PG entry explaining how to determine when the argument has concluded?
- If we are using a guide, such as completed eBay auctions to determine the value, are we supposed to include shipping and handling?
- Who all is included in "yourselves" here? If the game is a multiplayer game, for example, is the argument merely between Spurlock's controller and the controller of the target? Do the other players have a say?
- Can you use Probability Control on the argument?
- Do we base the price on the value of the character in general or specific to the character in play? For example, if the target has a broken arm, the market value of that specific piece is lessened. Does that impact the determination or are you supposed to base it on what that character usually fetches?
- Depending on the answer to the previous question, is the controller of the target figure allowed to swap out the one in play for a different one in response to the declaration of the attack? (Like, if you attack my figure which would be valued at $5, can I respond by replacing him with a broken version of the figure?)
- If the argument is between a man and a woman, does the man automatically lose even if he wins?
- Can you mod a figure by taping a $5 bill to it to increase the value if you, for some reason, want to give your opponent a +2 attack? If so, can the opponent demand an unmodded sculpt if he, for some reason, doesn't want a +2 attack?

No, it's Canadian dollars. You can find conversion tables online.

Last one standing. If one person leaves the venue, the argument is considered concluded with the person still in the venue considered the 'winner'. Otherwise, it's whoever is the last one standing. If there is a tie for who collapses first, roll-off.

No

Yes. However, they must be a player in the current game. Players that do not have a force currently on the map do not have a say. This includes if all of a player's force has been KO'd.

- Can you use Probability Control on the argument?
No. Probability Control only allows for re-rolls, not behavior modification.

Character in the condition it currently is in. If you cannot find a similar price point to work with, then go with a version of the figure that is 'New In Box' (Undamaged, with card, etc). For Pre-Card era, please consult this document: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...UE&usp=sharing

The swapped in figure was not a part of your force at the time of the action, so no.

This is up to the Venue. Most go with yes, but you might get lucky.

So long as the dial is not tampered with, I believe this is legal. However, it only values the figure. The opposition could argue that the figure is independent of the money attached and so this is probably ineffective. As always, ask your local judge.

If my figure is being targeted by Morgan Spurlock, is it legal for me to take a hammer to destroy the figure portion (leaving the dial intact) to reduce the value of my figure to protect it from the attack? The rules do not say anything about not allowing me to hammer my own figures, so I'd say it's legal.
I asked about Stan Lee today and, surprisingly, got an answer regarding "The Creator."

The promotional Stan Lee figure has the following trait:
THE CREATOR: Stan Lee possesses all keywords and team abilities that other figures on your current force possess.
Regardless of his status as a promotional figure that restricts his use in official tournament settings, does this trait enable Stan Lee to be played on any themed team, or does the themed team keyword check apply before his trait occurs, thus forcing him to break themed teams?
Thank you.
= = = = = = = =
Since Stan Lee's Trait does not specify it is active when building your force, he would not possess the keywords or team abilities until the game has begun. He would only have the Celebrity and Ruler keywords to use for determining theme during force construction.
Please note: This figure is a Promotional figure (indicated by the Purple Ring) and as such may or may not be allowed for use in tournament play. Please check with your local venue/judge before any event to see if this figure will be allowed.

Annnnd there goes my primary reason to ever play Stan Lee as fun filler on any given team. I do own a substantial number of Celebrity and Ruler pieces, but those are hardly themes I look to run frequently.
