I just got a SR Mojo in a trade. I'm itching to create a team with him and his number one lackey, Spiral. If I don't want to make a Mojoverse team (because that would mix heroes and villains), but I want it to be all baddies and sort of thematic, what should I do?
I want it to be a 500 point team. The house rule is that you can go over 500 if you really need to, but nothing more than 510. It doesn't have to be a theme, but the idea is to give Mojo minions that make more sense than just throwing on mystical figures like Scarlet Witch or Jinx or the Time Wizard.
My first idea is Mojo's Studio of classic Hollywood monsters!
Spiral's portals will help the slow-moving undead reach their victims, and Mojo's Places on Set! trait and all the ProbCon should boost their survivability a bit. Not bad looking for a team with no Outwit, no Running Shot, no up-front Perplex...
The Living Mummy likes the new Watch List dimensional portals.

Turn A - Spiral creates a portal underneath Frankenstein.
Turn B - Frankenstein uses a free action to move to the other portal, and Living Mummy shambles onto the home portal as a free action. Frankenstein uses Charge to leave the portal exit. The Mummy uses a free action to move through the Portal, then a Power Action to use Charge to leave the exit square. The Zuvembie or Werewolf is TKed by Mojo onto the home Portal square, and warps to the exit square to Charge or keep moving.
What would you do to fill up a 500 point Mojo-Spiral team?

Mojo Presents "As The Avengers Turn". A heart-warming soap opera featuring Simon Williams, the immortal stuntman with a shadowy past, and Wanda Maximoff, the on-again-off-again lover that pulled him back from the grave one day, and committed genocide the next. Join them for a fabulous new adventure on Channel Mojo 12. I would round out this team with CW210 Wonderman and the AVX Scarlet Witch, packing the duo and every other version of both characters in the sideboard.
Mojo Presents "Mojo Network News". Join us at the Daily Bugle, where every day is Halloween. Watch as J. Jonah Jameson makes headline news out of the antics of his son (the werewolf astronaut), daughter-in-law (the green-skinned rage freak), his assistant editor (the insane assasin with the flaming sword), his ace reporter (who has a penchant for eating people he doesn't like). Featuring special appearances by your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. This could easily go way over the 500 pt limit, but I'm sure there are some fun combinations of Jonah and John Jameson, She-Hulk, Hobgoblin, Venom & Spider-Man you could play with. Many of these are also celebrities.
Mojo Presents "Brother Blood's Hour of Prayer". Tune in each week for an hour of ecstatic prayer with Brother Blood, culminating in the human sacrifice of the week in crystal clear high-definition as only Mojo can present it. This could be simple... Mojo, Spiral, Brother Blood & 4 of his Acolytes for 501, or drop a couple of Acolytes and include a stack of Horde tokens to give the preacher an endless flock thanks to the respawning rules in epic games.
Mojo Presents "The Mojo Shopping Network", featuring Toyman and a thousand and one toys that will deliver themselves to your home if you don't give us your credit card number now... That's right, now! NOW! Again pretty simple, Toyman along with as many toys (or copies of the older nutcracker Toyman) you wish to include, easily scaling up to any point you want. Spiral can Fed Ex them anywhere!
I was given rep for my screen name alone! Now I feel all warm inside
I forgot one that strikes me as fairly obvious...
*BAM!* Mojo proudly presents *KAPOW!* the classic adventures of Batman *BIFF* and Robin *BONK* in syndication. Seems like you should be able to team Mojo and Spiral up with every single character in this TV driven set. Could probably do the same with the Iron Maiden set if you can envision the Iron Mojo FM Station.

LOTS of robots. Dreadnought, M-11, stuff like that. I remember in the cartoon that Mojo had a bunch of shape shifting robots and things sent towards Longshot and the Xmen. Even Predator X's would be neat. Make the team as Sci-Fi as possible.
We had a 6-character Rumble in the Ring format for a tournament, where each turn a character would get called into the ring by a dice roll. It sounded like the perfect reality TV show for Mojo, so I threw together this Celebrity lineup:
Input there was a dice roll of 1, and it was the Cameraman bystander token! And in the end, I replaced Loki with Hercules. But man, was it a blast! When the Cameraman accidentally got caught in the crossfire, when Mojo ended up on TV before he was ready to...
And with Spiral's portals like you're thinking, you could conceptually represent changing channels without my scenario format.
