Would love to hear more about how you make the maps and how the process works through Wizkids.

I have a few favorites. Did you make these?

1. Spider-man Bridge: yeah the bridge should be way higher than the water but I have lots of fun on this map.

2. Madripoor Map: You can move up and hide in places other than stealth.

3. The old Ninja Garden from Indy: The small amounts of elevated are important to conquer.

4. Canadien Wilderness: OK, I haven't played this yet but it looks great. Another map that channels in the fight but the elevated terrain on the sides offer some unique strategizing. Want to play some Frost Giants/Warriors on this map. Could make a good Jutenhiem substitute.

I am now real curious to hear your next podcast regarding the "Worst" maps. How could you choose your own?

One day perhaps I will talk about maps more.

As for the Canadian Wilderness map. I actually just kinda thought about when Heather found Logan wondering the wilderness and the cabin she took him too. Wanted some water in that map too.

Believe me I have made some maps that I am not happy with.

What?!!! I was sure that you made that up until I checked Wikipedia. He doesn't look like his dad at all!

But after Zero Hour Validus got a new origin and he wasn't Lightning Lad's son in the new continuity.

Anyone who still has the word "Lad" in their superhero name should not be having children. If that's the case, change your superhero name to something more grown up.

Validus being the son of Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl was a retroactive alteration by Darkseid, and specific to the original continuity. Post-Zero Hour, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl didn't have children and didn't come across Darkseid until the final year or two of that continuity.

Validus always had "mental lightning" or "brain bolts" as one of his powers, and the idea grew in fandom that his powers could be the result of the coupling of the Legion's central couple, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl (Lightning + mental powers, get it?). Eventually, the creators decided to work this into continuity at the end of the Great Darkness Saga, where Darksied's revenge against the Legion (who didn't defeat him, just basically slowed him down) was to kidnap one of their twin kids and turn him into a monster in their past.

I find myself wondering more often then not what the outro music is, you'all have some pretty good taste. Maybe you could start including the artist / title info in the initial post for all the music heads out there so that we don't have to always ask?

OH DEAR GOD, I KNOW! I don't want to mess with anyone's beloved characters, but please DC! Update some of your Lad, Boy, Lass, Girl, Man, and Woman names! They can be great characters, but their names really show their age. An update could really help bring them readers.
