I am playing in Month 6 tomorrow, and the only other person in running for DS9 was bragging about how awesome his fleet (that he copied from other fleets) is the most awesome thing.
He's one point behind me.
I've access to two of every Federation and Klingon ship, and three of the LE Klingon, as I usually run Klingon. I've also access to every other ship (except the Bajoran, obviously) that's out.
I wasn't concerned, but he's been talking real smack, and I need to take him down a peg or six. My dad, Kaewin, is judging, and therefore refuses to give me any help.
Don't tell dad, but is anyone willing to help me build a fleet to take this troll down?
2) The opponent in question, what does he usually play?
3) Anything we should know, AOs still being used, Faction purity ect?
Thank you so much!!
1) Yes! The only thing I'm not allowed to use is the Bajoran ship.
2) He usually runs Klingon, and sticks to faction-pure as much as possible.
3) We don't use AOs, and I like to use my Klingons as much as possible; I don't always go faction-pure, but I got a second LE Bird of Prey to use for the event.

Hmmmm......well I've run this Klingon swarm team with some good results.
From there you could either upgrade on the the D7s to the genaric B'Rel (for 4 points) or exchange a D7 for another Raptor class ship (0 pts) and add a second Projected Stasis Field (5 pts).
It's a different build though I'll admit.
One thing I'd consider as an alternate thought though, if your opponent sounds that thrilled with his fleet he might be talking about a 'Conditional Surrender' spam team.
If that is the case the Negh'Var+ Klingon Boarding Party would come in quite handy.
Klingon Boarding Party (Klingon/NeghVah Expansion)
Action: If your ship is not Cloaked, disable all your remaining Shields and target a ship at Range 1-2 that is not Cloaked and has no Active Shields. Discard this card to disable all Upgrades and remove all [BATTLESTATIONS] Tokens on the target ship.
Cost: 5
I'm a big fan of the Engage/Transwarp and dropping antimatter mines as a Federation strategy though, if you were interested in going that way.....especially if you think there will be cloaking heavy fleets around.
It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
