Day 33: Morning; In an alternate reality where heroes and villains from several realities were being abducted, primarily the Marvel and DC universe.

Scott Summers was at wit's end. The X-Men were down to himself, the Angel, Warren Worthington and Sunspot.

There were plenty of X-Men foes at large. Juggernaut, the Blob, Mesmero, to name a few.

The Juggernaut was the biggest problem. They just weren't enough to stop him. Not with so much of the team gone.

Cyclops was nearly exhausted, He'd barely gotten any sleep with so many of his teammates missing. He'd been working long hours for weeks now, trying to locate his missing X-Men and dealing with various crises.

In his exhausted state he was unaware of the rift in reality he walked right into.

Cyclops groggily blinked as he discovered his new surroundings. Everything was very strange. The plants were unusual and extremely exotic. He saw colors that didn't seem to exist naturally on Earth.

He forced himself to become more alert.

Cyclops saw strange exotic birds he couldn't place. Where was he?

Suddenly, he accidentaly kicked a rock and the rock retaliated by suddenly growing teeth and biting his boot!

Cyclops pulled his boot away and blasted the rock with an eye blast. The rock screamed in pain and reverted to some bizarre blue-green animal and fled.

Despite Scott's fatigue, he became instantly very alert.

Scott Summers had done enough travelling to other worlds to know he was not on Earth. Was this where the other X-Men and all the other missing heroes were? If so, how could he find them?

Warily, Scott began to wander, trying to locate somewhere safe, or at least something that made sense for him.

What Scott Summers wanted to do was lay down and get some sleep. He'd been up all night trying to resolve a problem and he could barely think straight, but now he was trapped on a strange world with alien flora and fauna.

He was struggling just to stay alert while not falling asleep.

Suddenly, he witnessed a bizarre battle where both combatants seemed to continuously change shape as they attacked each other.

Cyclops had no idea who to side with.

Cyclops watched intently, when suddenly one of the combatants was stunned by his opponent. The combatant fell and reverted to the shape of a Skrull.

Cyclops went to high alert.

The Skrull recovered and resumed the battle, fiercely engaging his opponent. Cyclops still wasn't sure what was going on but knew Skrulls were trouble and zapped the one he knew to be a Skrull before the combatant could revert shape so often that Cyclops couldn't keep track.

The Skrull fell like a stone.

Cyclops watched the other combatant warily before the creature landed.

The creature reverted to a slight orange humanoid shape with antennas on it's head like My Favorite Martian.

That was the last thing Cyclops remembered before he gave in to exhaustion.

The Durlan knelt beside the human who evidently saved him from the Skrull invader that was trying to kill him.

Generally, Durlans were xenophobic. But the invasion by the Skrulls who seemed to have similar traits as Durlans left some desparate Durlans with more open minds.

This particular Durlan was very grateful to Cyclops for saving him from Skrull aggression and took Cyclops in for shelter.

On Earth, everyone was wondering where the next influx of kdnapped heroes and villains would be.

Star City was still patrolled by the Teen Titans and the Defenders and secretly by the Scarlet Spider with his new partner, Speedy.

Arkon received his next influx of subjects and tried to help them understand what had happened.

Superman arrived in Tokyo and met with Sunfire along with the Silver Samurai and Katana.

After learning how things went with that city and reassuring Katana that he would be first to respond if he was needed, he looked at the rest if the island and saw that it was all feudal Japan outside of Tokyo.

A quick survey of mainland China suggested the same thing.

Mockingbird, Monica Rambeau and the Swordsman were very happy to be back in Avengers Mansion. It was especially bittersweet for the Swordsman who was supposed to be dead.

Ka-Zar returned to the Savage Land and felt right at home. He didn't know what was going on but knew he would be needed here.

Having been briefed that Vertigo of the Savage Land mutates was somewhere near, Ka-Zar sought her out to verify she was safe.

When he saw that she was content, Ka-Zar settled in to life in this alternate Savage Land, confident that Shanna and Zabu would soon follow.
