I was reviewing the updated FAQ from 6/27/03, and wanted to make sure that I was reading it right. Is it true that you no longer have to break away when you want to pick up an object when you are already in B2B w/ someone, and the object is also adjacent? This makes me hate the dumpster even more if I understand this correctly. Any help is appriciated. Thanks, guys!!!

You don't have to roll a breakaway if all you are doing is picking up the object. If you are Charging while picking up the object, you still need to roll breakaway.

They did change it recently. Before, you had to breakaway to pick up the object. Now, you can pick up the object without breaking away, if all you are doing is picking up the object. Keep in mind that it still costs an action, and the figure still gets an action token.
