Lets say your are attacking a character with Impervious using TDW 04 Malekith. His trait states "Characters hit by an attack from Malekith can't use defense powers until their next turn." Does this mean that the trait would go into effect right after hitting the target, thus meaning you would deal the damage to the target ignoring the defense power. The way I see it is that the trait says "hit by an attack" not "damaged by an attack". This means that you would ignore the defense power while dealing damage because you deal the damage after hitting the character, obviously. Just wondering if this is correct...
When it says "Defense Powers" in TDW 04 Malekith's trait , it looks like everyone runs this as Powers that appear in the Defense slot on the figures dial (as opposed to the list of Powers from the PAC that are called "Defense Powers").
So if a character has, eg Invulnerability from the Colossus fragment of the Phoenix resource, that is not a Defense Power appearing in that slot on the dial - so the character could use it?
Or the character has a Special Power in the Speed Slot or Damage Slot on his dial, which grants use of Invulnerability or Combat Reflexes, he can still use it?
Just making sure...

There is a list of these figures in my sig line. Remember that the wording of Bard the Bowman, Agent 13, Outback Hulk and Iron Paladin get around Super Senses. Malekith and Carrion do not. Forge is more flexible.
