3 questions ready to go...
1. Let us say that my opponent were to push the pacted character to death (no reason except for demonstration). Would the pact remain on the new highest point character or rather would it go away?
2. If I have a Duo figure on my force and they would be pacted then if I were to split them would they A.) transfer the pact to the next highest point character B.) would I get to choose who would possess the pact (much like how I get to choose who gets the utility belt or gauntlet) or C.) the pact goes away
3. If I have 2 characters who could merge together and become the highest point piece on the team would they become the new pact holder or not?
"ok so I need a -2 to hit you... Do I even have to roll?"
"you're going to roll snake eyes!"
"how do you know?" rolls snake eyes

wait I have three more... sorry
1. If I were to have a character with say the gauntlet who was 129 point printed would he be the highest point character or not?
2. Now assuming that question 1 is answered as the pact passes onto the next highest point character... then if that next highest point character is say a 30 point piece, and team base figure (costs more than 30 on their dial but I paid only 5) then who would get the pact?
3. (Easy One). Can I incap someone to death on a highfather team?

1) I would say yes. The pushed character never took damage from an attack, so the pact remains.
2) The effect of the Pact would go onto one of the split figures. I reference a ruling on using the Pulse Bolt on Silver Centurion then merging with War Machine. The game effect of "once per game" joined the duo figure (Iron Man and War Machine) and when split again, the player chose to have the game effect ("Once per game") go to War Machine, letting Silver Centurion use Pulse Bolt again. In this instance, the game effect of The Pact would follow one figure from the original duo, as the "once per game" effect did.
3) No. When the Pact is declared, it can't be moved onto another character should one of higher points become available.
4) That all depends on who else is on your team. Very unclear question. I assume you're asking if the Gauntlet adds cost to a figure. In this case, I would say yes because the The Pact doesn't say printed point value, but just point value.
5) I am unsure on this one.
6) Yes. Incap is listed as an attack that deals no damage.

Wait what! holy cow if that is true that is amazing... do you have a link to the official ruling on that?

1. Relics, resources and Feats do not ever affect a characters point cost. The printed cost on the dial is the one used used for any and all effects. A 129 point character by itself is the same as a 129 point character assigned the gauntlet and 100 points of feats!
2. Based on rulings in other threads the pact does not transfer, except via split and merge effects.
3. Sure, why couldn't you in cap an opposing figure on a High father team? Now if you mean can a pacted figure use incap to attack another figure, no, because Incap is still an attack and a pacted figure can't target figures with attacks.

1. Odd situation...I would say if the Non-Highfather figure pushed itsself to death then High father is still u deer the effect of the pact, but the effect does not transfer (its been ruled that the pact is set at the beginning of the game, it only transfers via split/merge)
2. As per the current rulings for an effect like this you choose which of the characters gets the pact
3. If one of the merged figures was originally the figure with the pact, but again, the pact does not transfer just because of points, its only checked at the beginning of the game and only switches figures due to split/merge.

1. As this ability is a choice of who is affected and remains with those characters if the original pacted character is KO'd for whatever reason then the Pact ends and no other characters are effected.
2. The Pact is a game effect and is transferred just like any other game effect, so the person who is splitting has the choice.
3. The ability is also chosen at the start of the game so it does not matter what the points total of the merged character is. However if one of the original characters was Pacted then the Pact would transfer on to the new Merged character just like any other game effect (even if the new character is over 300pts).
4. Resources/Relics don't increase the points cost of characters
5. Does not apply - see answer to question 2
6. You really need to be more specific around your question. Incap is still an attack so if you were Pacted you couldn't use it as it prevents you attacking. If you are talking about using incap with another character who isn't subject to the Pact then I am not sure why the question is relevant as the Pact only affects that one character. If you are talking about incap against Highfather to avoid breaking the Pact then again you need to be careful. If Highfather has zero or one token on him before incap is used then incap is an attack that deals no damage so you can incap him without breaking the Pact. If he has 2 tokens on him then suddenly incap turns into an attack that is going to deal damage so if you hit then he takes damage from an attack and the Pact is broken.

The Pact stays only on those two characters. It is a choice at the beginning of the game.

You would get to choose which character in the Split gets the effects of the Pact.

3. If I have 2 characters who could merge together and become the highest point piece on the team would they become the new pact holder or not?
Only if one of them already had the effects of the Pact.

Resources, Feats, and Relics do not change the cost of the Character. So that character would need to already be the highest point character.

2 things: 1) Pact stays with the chosen character. 2) Characters removed from a Team Base are worth as many points as the next Starting Line is worth. The Team Dials cost is +5 for that character, if the character is KO'd while on Solo then your opponent gets as many points as what is on the dial.

3. (Easy One). Can I incap someone to death on a highfather team?
Yes, But the character that is effected by the Pact can't target opposing characters with an attack which includes Incapacitate.

No, Characters that detach from a Team Base are not replacement characters. Only the Team Base will still have the effect of the Pact.

Okay, 2 more questions (which I've searched quite a bit for already in other threads).
1.) If 2 characters merge, 1 is pacted, but the duo is now over 300 points; does the pact remain?
2.) I just want confirmation that a pacted duo that splits gets to choose which figure is pacted (since I saw a different answer in another thread, I wasn't sure which one was current/correct).

Thanks as always.
1. Yes.
2. Yes, the pact would pass on to any split character the player chooses.
Hope that helps.
