Ran Star Trek AW and X Wing at a Con this weekend and got converts to both games.....well 4 new clix players too but on to the important stuff.

Demoed both games and on the AW side had 4 people try the game out. One of my vet players taught a guy I had played with last year and talked alot with since then to play and love Klingons. He pmed me last night and said he bought all the klingon ships he could. Had a LARPer try the game out and ran Romulans against the Borg and Hidekkis and the a 88 Point Voyager against a 80 point sphere. He was killed the first round and would have won the second except he ran out of mat. Gave him an extra LE Rav I had to try the Sphere and he plans on getting it, the core set and a few other pieces. The Venue owner where I judge gave away a couple ships extra so that made them happy.

In the last 45 minutes had a guy show up and try out the Voyager against the LARPer Borg and like the game a bit.

I had given out fighters to all players and a few extra ships.

On Sunday I ran X Wing with a kit and had a scenario where one force would take a derelict ship around and asteroid field to a planet to be used. The late shower for AW tried this out also and like it.

Got great laughs when I put out the D as the derelict inferior ship. We made jokes about the engine unit was so messed up it looked like a blind man was in charge many times.


Had people who had never played at a con try it out and they found out how focus really works and order of damage which was good for them. Two sets of Aces were sold this weekend and many single ships from both vendors who had the stuff.


I convinced one guy who is a XW player, well the Borg did it I should say, to try a cross game and he is going to see about starting both games at a local venue and offer to judge there.


Good weekend for Flight Path games. Looking to get Wings of Glory to demo next year and already planning out a large Borg battle for AW next April on the 4X6 I got from DS.

Going to get my AW campaign idea and work out one for XW to give out next year and may have to get a bunch of transports for a 4X6 scenario for XW too. Ihave a year to plan and build up


Going to be a long year.
