Has anyone encountered scarcity issues with certain ships?
Right now I want:
Borg Sphere
Voyager
Excelsior
Equinox
Somraw
However I don't play very much otside OP events and they usually require a buy in. Does anyone anticipate these ships becoming hard to find if I wait to buy them 1 or 2 a month as I manage to play in events?

Locally, Voyager, Sphere and Excelsior were popular and sold quickly the first order. As for the Somraw, we have extras left over here from even the first wave.

The equinox is a YMMV I think, I loved it, others were less happy with it. I think only wave 0 has been harder to reorder though, so I can't say for sure.
So to answer your question, you may find some ships are faster selling.

Borg Sphere & Voyager are two that I can see stores having to restock and there could be an issue of availability.

Excelsior has already been out of stock twice at my venue. It may have issues down the road as I only think they went to a reprint of Waves 0 & 1, IIRC.

Equinox & Somraw I see little issue with availability in the future.

I've got four different stores I can pickup ships from locally, so far I've been to one and they had three spheres (1 after I bought mine!) and three voyagers (1 after my buddy got his and I got mine)

They were there for a half a week before we got them, so not sure if that helps. I think they still had more behind the counter as well.

all local stores have to many of all ships stocked and cant sell them all.....its sad cause they are right next to x wing at my main store and x wing cant stay in stock while attack wing is just sitting there

I think problem is that attack lets u get away with 1 ship (named) of each type and that creates little use for multiples

Wizkids should put more non-unique upgrades in with ships.

I have three Consitution Enterprises just for the Elite Talents, and two Defiants and Reliants for the Talents/Weapons.

I went out and bought the borg sphere and voyager on ebay. Then I bought the excelsior as a buy in. I only buy federation, klingon, dominion, and borg. I am tempted to start getting romulan but I don't know if I want to spend the money. I only play faction pure so I am not that concerned with it.

The most recent wave, my local store only had one Voyager and one Nistrim Raider by the Saturday after release. That made me sad.

We've gone through them very quickly. The only thing that there seems to be a surplus of is Dominion Battleships, but it looks like they bought too many.
