This is awesome. I feel like this should be a ROC Super Qualifier event since you have some great prizing. You would also get more exposure.

Super Qualifiers have to be chosen, and with this being the first year we're doing it we didn't wanna go for a full qualifier until we can get a handle on how large it's gonna be.

Having said that, we are prepared for up to 100 players to participate on Sunday, and our event team (myself as head TO, Kozmanaut as Head Judge and others as Asst judge) have tons of experience in events of this size/caliber.

Should the turnout be what we're expecting and hoping for, next year we'll be pushing for ROC status and what not

Seeing as I am on the board, I could have pulled some strings

Anyway, what's your expected turnout for this event?

I'm expecting for 30+, I'm hopeful for 50+ this year

Don't think I'd get enough to justify the $650 price for the kit this year.

Next year when I've got a PHXCC under my belt I'll be applying for sure! Like I said, large events is something I do (been doing it in L5R for years) so I know how to run them...just not sure about this first go round.
