So this week is a 600 point game at my venue. I want to finally use my team base but haven't played with them before. I was looking for suggestions and any strategy to help understand the team a bit better.
I'm gonna use my full shiar team base at 500 points with lilandra to fill it out at 593. I usually play with a very aggressive strategy and was curious if this team base will benefit most from it.
My advice: keep it on the shelf as a display piece, it's much cooler there than on the gaming table.
But, if you insist, the Shi'ar base can be hyper aggressive. @ 600 points they get 3 actions. Open up with:
(Special) Interplantary Jump: Once per game give Shi'ar Imperial Guard a power action. Place them anywhere on the map that's not in a starting area. You may place them on squares where walls would normally prevent them being placed, and then destroy all walls along the edges of squares Shi'ar Imperial Guard occupies.
Jump next to your victim. With your second action, use Gladiator's Flurry. With your third, make a regular attack. Then use Lilandra:
(Attack) Help Me, Charles Xavier: Give Lilandra a free action and choose a friendly character not within 6 squares. That character can use Sidestep this turn. If that character has the Shi'ar or X-Men keyword, you may give Lilandra a power action instead and then place that character adjacent to her.
Pull the base back to your starting area.
Congratulations! You just did 17 damage and have no fear of reprisal from your opponent!
This teal light of mine, gonna' stick it where the sun don't shine...

just pray you don't face White witch. If a smell a possible team base before I walk in the door shes on my team.
I wasn't sure if the jump was able to be used with working together. Glad to know it does. Can I outwit after I jump or do the 3 actions have to be successive like normal?
I havent seen white witch ran but I have seen agent 13 and she does worry me but only my buddy plays who....which we always practice before the event. Guess ill at least have an idea on how to deal with them.

Like normal, so no mid-jump Outwit. Working Together has to be resolved first.
