Yesterday, I finally got to open my case of Deadpool. I had some lucky pulls. I got the Zombie Kingpin and a couple Super Rares I wanted like Thorpool and the Wolverine X-23 duo. However, the duo is broken. Wolverine is missing his left arm. I understand that there are occasional manufacturing errors and I feel lucky that for my entire time playing, this is the only piece of value that I have pulled that was broken.
After opening the rest of the case and seeing what pieces I am still missing, I got to thinking. There are tons of older Wolverines. There has to be one that I could get for a reasonable price, break off his left arm, and attach it to the duo. I might need to add a little paint, but it should be easy to fix. So, I want to ask the public, what easy to obtain Wolverine would have a compatible left arm with the duo? Would the WOS Wolverine work? He is already in the right costume, but I have not checked the scale or positioning? Would another Wolverine arm work better? Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I am not planning on selling or trading the duo, so I do not need an arm that perfectly matches up. I am looking for an arm to scale that looks like it could go on the duo, something that looks cool. The Newer FF Wolverine from Hulk would not match up because of the jacket he is wearing. The WXM might match up with some paint. In fact, the Chaos War might match up with some paint. I would have to see where that arm lines up with the sculpt of the duo since that one has him bracing himself with his left arm.

Personally, I would either leave the arm off (battle damage) or take something crazy and glue it on. Why try to repair to look new when you can make it unique?

@ SilverBulletKY: from my understanding, WK sends replacements based on rarity. If I send in a SR, I will get another SR, but it might not be the same SR. This is hearsay from what I have picked up on the Realms. I have not personally sent in anything to WK for a replacement.
@ goldpony: There was no arm in the package to glue back on. If I do not find a donor Wolverine then it will be a battle damaged Wolverine figure. I know X-23 lost a limb and kept fighting. She just picked up her own arm so she could eventually swap out her arms later and keep the adamantium. But, if I can find a suitable left arm for this Wolverine, then I would rather do that.

@goldpony: Sorry, I misread your statement. Newborn kept me up last night and my reading comprehension is down. Creating something unique will be great. I'm keeping the piece so it doesn't have to look like all the other duos around. However, I would like it to still be a Wolverine arm.

From my own experiences, 80% of the time they send you the same back. But they won't say that, so they have leeway if they're not able to do exact replacement. If you aren't 100% attached to the figure, and view it as value lost, you might as well send it in. If you plan to keep it (and it sounds like you do), mod away!

Try the Web of Spider-man Wolverine. He's wearing an X-Force costume, too.

I actually considered the HYDRA Wolverine too since it is the same sculpt. If I can get my hands on two of them then that's what I'll most likely do.
When I get home, I'll see how the WOS Wolverine matches up. They look like they are selling for only about $5 so I can pick one up if the arm matches up well. I don't do mods or painting, so having the right color scheme will factor a lot into which arm I decide to use.

It shouldn't be too hard to get a Wolverine that matches up size-wise, and even if it isn't the same suit (I'm not looking at the figures right now, but WOS from my recollection might be just a little too big) it's only a really easy paint job. WXM looks to be the same size.
