Don't forget, the negative perplex can (rarely) be used on your own figures for a much needed advantage. Aside from the obvious, perplex down def for a critical support roll, it can be very effective when used with pulse wave. Need to pulse wave but there's a fig one square out from your main target? Perplex down your range and catch them off guard by blasting their fig for full damage! Just make sure your perplexer is out of pulse wave range or it will be ignored!
