hello everybody, my name is Thomas and i played heroclix from 2007-2009/10
i live in oregon a few miles west of portland

i just recently started playing again earlier this month, but to my knowledge there is only one venue nearby to play at and they only play twice a month, which isnt hardly ever for me because i want to play every day lol, the venue is rainy day games and they are great, friendly, and welcomed me with open arms and they are the closest place to me, i dont drive so i ride the bus or occasionally get a ride from someone. the bus ride is an hour from where i live and the tournaments are later in the day.

my questions are

1. is there other places to play nearby?

2. earlier games?

3. is anyone else around willing to play sometime?


im not really super elite about heroclix like some people ive seen in the past, i just love to play, love the game in general, and mainly just play for fun but i also love playing in tournaments and similar events.

can someone help me out?

Have you signed up for the wizkids event system yet? It has a wonderfull set of tools for finding nearby venues.

If Rainy Day Games in Aloha is in your range, you might also investigate Ancient Wonders in Tualatin, Comic Collectibles and Things From Another World (both in Milwaukie), Guardian Games in Portland or Knightfall Games in Beaverton. All are currently advertising upcoming events on the Wizkids Event System (mentioned above) and are within 12 miles of Rainy Day. One or more might be a good fit for your situation. Who knows, maybe you'll meet a fellow player at one of these with whom you can catch a ride to more.
