Ranged Steal Energy with Energy Explosion and Pulse Wave is going to be like one of the Marvel Vampires getting a good Quake in, right? Going to need to hit him hard and fast.
Bit bewildering that he has his Steal Energy special damage power on his first click-- he can't heal on that click, so he can't get PC or Perplex on that click, can he? I'd prefer another click of it further down, instead. His translucent teal flames are really cool looking, though!

Having the special power on his first click allows him to use perplex / PC when he heals up from his second or third click.
Looks great on paper. Played him in 400 point WoL Sealed and he is much more fragile than you would expect. Anyone that can get close to him is going to drop a world of hurt on him very quickly. His Steal Energy power is great but smart players are going to knock him down to click 5 (or at least 4) with a good Charge attack and then he's rocking a 9AV which is a tough roll now a days against someone who can deal 3-4 to you close up. I was very surprised how fast he went down for a 140 point figure.

ya i played him in 400 sealed as well. he was good, it was that one waterfall map so there was lots of hindering that i could running shot to. he was blasting people for 4 with 20 d in hindering. but as soon as it came close even with a lucky regeneration roll he got taken down fast
He is like any of the other black lanterns and his defense's are specialized or lacking.
With that being said this guy should never see front row someone should be trying to get to combat so he can come in after the other team's engaged. 7 range is an okay range to keep him away from a charging character if your using his max range. I like him, but as with all the other black lanterns he's gonna take a little more strategy than normal IMO. Also, when he run's in to PW and his SP he can potentially earn as much life as there are characters since PW would target everyone in 4 he could potentially gain 4 life in 400 point match with good positioning. If i'm incorrect someone let me know, but in a kind way lmfao.

If Firestorm is on Click 5, he could heal 4 clicks if 4 opposing characters are hit and damaged by Pulse Wave.
Definitely one of the better ranged attackers within the set, with good meta potential. With nearly a full dial of Running Shot and self-healing (Steal Energy, Regeneration), he's good, even if a bit fragile. He thrives on KOs, gaining Outwit, Perplex and PC for a turn under the right circumstances.
You'll want to assign him a Construct (?Decoy) through a Black Lantern Ring-powered Battery, increasing his range and durability at a minimum cost (10-11 AV, 18-21 DV with ES/D).
