So I finally got around to going on mafiascum, and my head is hurting from reading these theory articles.

It also sounds like they play completely different from us at times, or did if they no longer play.

There is definitely a very specific meta at play here.

I tried reading theory articles during my first couple games. Also tried to track things in a spreadsheet.

Gave up on both. Now I just wing it with every role I have.

It also seems like they didn't really favour giving everyone powers. That just seems odd to me, which is likely a result of starting here. I can't imagine just sitting on my hands most of the game.

I find it much nicer to have mortal enemies rather than immortal enemies. Those are really hard to get rid of.

I literally wasted 4 hours of time waiting trying to get post 1000 because I had a brilliant idea for the new thread name. And Quebbster stole it after I did get post 1000. How dare you! You'll get what's coming.

And I just made a title up on the fly. I learned long ago that when you have a great idea for a thread title, you need to be patient. Someone's bound to beat you to the punch a few times.
