If I have an Xwing starter, do I need a Star trek one to use my borg ships?

I bought myself the tactical cube. Whats the next borg ship I should consider buying? Whats the BEST one? And should I look at any other factions for generic upgrades or stuff that would be useful for my borg?
And do NOT suggest the $99 cube lol.... cant get that.

Borg sphere is only other borg vessel out right now. As to your other question there is a lot of other upgrades that r great, however the cool thing with the borg is assimilation tubules which come in the sphere pack allow you to steal your opponents upgrades, which is useful if you dont want to buy/play as another faction.

The Soong is also out now and the scout cube is the next Borg ship to come out soon.

So far the Borg have three ships, The Sphere, Tactical Cube, and Soong, that have been released to date.

I would suggest those other two expansions if you already have the cube, those will help. I personally picked up two Spheres as I thought the upgrades in them were worth it and at the time it was the only Borg ship, but really one should be fine now.

Other than a new set of friends after everyone gets tired of your Borg builds you really don't need much. Just bust them out, point at opponent, roll, and collect your prize at the end of the night.

If you're looking to go all-out cheese with the Borg, there are a number of stuff you can buy to make them pretty nasty. The starter will get you Picard. Reliant will get you Khan. The Negh'Var will get you In'cha. Defiant will get you a cloaking device. The Enterprise (both original and refit) will get you generally great crew options (and original will get you Cheat Death). Praetus for cloaked mines.

You'll be super unpopular super fast, though.

Flak, those upgrades are good, I like the Borg upgrades more. Except Picard, you are right on the money with him.

Ironically Picard actually makes sense on the Borg ship as opposed to flying Birds of Prey or Dominion ships.
