So I am playing a Team Base for the first time tomorrow and I have some questions on how it works so I don't look like a total Nimrod. I will be playing the AvX Avengers Team Base at 600 points:
1)With team abilities: Will I be using the team abilities of all characters attached to the base, or only Avengers team ability listed on the base itself?
2)Solo adventure: When I detach a character I know that it starts on the color clix that matches the base. But could I detach a character, use it until it takes damage, reattach it, then detach it again and it would be fully healed?
3) Asset abilities: Are these considered free actions or power actions?
4) I know that some characters asset abilities give Empower and Enhancement. Would these only affect characters that are not attached to the base?
5) I will be using Hope Summers and with her asset ability would I be able to use ANY asset ability, even Avenger characters that are not being used this game? (example: Thor's Energy Explosion asset)

While Attached the characters do not have a base aside from the Team Base base. That means they don't have a Team Ability outside of what is on the base itself.

No. It would be back on its starting click for Solo Adventure, but it would not be healed. Healing is a very specific turn in Heroclix. So you would turn them back to click 1, but you would be literally healing them.... Yeah it is confusing. Sorry about that. It becomes easier in due time I swear.

It depends on the Asset Ability. Some of them are Free Actions, Some of them Are Power Actions, and some of them Trigger off of other actions/events. You have to read the ability to know. It will say if it is a Free Action or Power Action. If it just says the Team Base can use Flurry, then you would follow the normal rules for using Flurry.

Correct. You cannot use Empower or Enhancement on yourself. Note though that does not mean that it only effects characters on a Solo Adventure. It effects any adjacent Friendly character.

Thanks for the help!!!!!
Please quote her Asset ability. I do not know it off hand and she is not listed in the Player's Guide yet.

T001 Avengers and T002 X-Men: Give this team character a free action and choose the asset ability of any character that could be attached to the team base but isn't. This team character can use that asset ability until your next turn.

You can use this power for any character who could legally be attached to the Team Base, but is not. That does not mean that it can only be used for characters who are on a Solo Mission.
So if you do not have Red Hulk attached to the Team Base you could use her Asset Ability to use his Asset Ability.

To expand on Hope's power, let's say you have her on the Avengers Team Base with Iron Man, Thor, Daredevil, and Spidey... if her face came up on the Asset Dial, you could choose any other figure that lists that they can be attached to the Avengers base (eg. Black Panther, Prof X, Wolverine, Red Hulk, etc), not JUST the ones that aren't attached at the moment.
As a side note on the Solo Adventure, I've heard that you pop off the figure and move them to whatever click that corresponds to the current state of the base... but I'm not sure if I understand that right. Does that mean if you have the Avengers TB at 600 points, get REALLY hurt (let's say 3 clicks from the end) and use Solo Adventure... does the Solo start on the red click (where the TB started) or the yellow click (the section that the TB is currently in)? I've heard both interpretations and I've never used a team base to see which is more accurate.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

Every click number on a team dial is either red, blue, or yellow.
When you use Solo Adventure, the character's starting click is the click with a click number that matches the color of the team dial's click numbers.
In your example, the TD would be on a yellow click number. This means any character brought in with Solo Adventure would start on its yellow click.
Glad to get a straight (and well said) answer to that... like I said, I've heard different interpretations and I've never played a team base).
Rep to you, Sir... not like you need it with your 110 million, but I still appreciate the help.

Does anyone have a link to the errata for the team bases? I got the zombie base and it still says one action for every 100 points or fraction thereof of its point value.
