I am proud to announce all the details currently available for Heroclix Nationals in October. This post will be updated with information regarding regionals tournaments, prize pool and preregistration as they become available.

By popular demand, Heroclix Nationals will be held on October 24-26. The venue will be Good Games Hurstville in Sydney.

The event will consist of:

Friday 24: 2pm Repack draft. 7.30 pm Superheroic Trivia Night. While both of these events have a social focus, there will be prizes associated with them.

Saturday 25: 10.00am Nationals Registration. 11am Sealed Event. Two boosters of the most recent available set will be provided to build a 300 point team. Depending on numbers, there will be four rounds of swiss play, then cut to top eight.

Sunday 26: 11am Constructed Event. 500 points Modern Age. All figures and resources allowed by Wizkids in this format are legal for play. Depending on numbers, there will be four rounds of swiss play, then cut to top eight.

The National Champion will be determined by aggregating the scores of competitors across the two days. The player with the highest total score over the Sealed and Constructed events will become the 2014 National Champion.

Who's Judging? I assume it won't be Jamie as he will still need to run the store. Judging the nationals will need someone's full attention.
