Yes. The trait states that you do it for the rest of the game, even of the ability is lost. Being KO'd qualifies for the "even if this ability is lost" portion.

So if you had multiple of this guy the trait wouldn't stack? Or am I reading the wording wrong? Just seems like a fun idea to explore, and can imagine it being really under used in silver age in my area. And I love fringe-y weirdness. Plus I wanna make use of the Tess ones I pulled last year on a Rigellian team.
