CHANNEL THE LIGHT OF THE OTHER CORPS: Give Proselyte a free action and choose a color that isn't brown, black, grey or pink. Proselyte can use a standard power of the chosen color until your next turn.
I understand why not the first 3 colors listed, but why no pink? I could understand if this was Predator or if it said purple instead of pink but, why pink? Is it just a power level issue or is it more comic significant?
Because there is no pink in the emotional spectrum. The Star Sapphires use the Violet (Purple) light of Love. It's just a thematic thing.
Ok I thought it would be but I was associating Star Sapphires with pink instead of purple. My mistake, now I feel silly to have started a thread for this.

I think Pink should have been left in, there are purple powers but the lantern corps are Indigo and Violet, I don't think it would have made a huge difference game mechanics wise.
Interesting to note is that if they ever introduce another set of coloured powers then you would be able to choose them but not pink.

I am guessing these are withheld for game balance reasons rather than purely thematic.
I think they're counting Light Blue as Blue and Dark Blue as Indigo for these color-related lantern powers. It seems like that anyway. I'm ok with that.
Plus, imagine how terrible it would be to tell Dark Blue from Indigo if they ever decided to make Indigo powers! "Oh, that's Mastermind?! I thought that was the Indigo one that means you can't be outwitted; I wouldn't have done that. Is it ok if I take that back?"

What are purple powers counted as then?
