I have asked the rules forum this but they are a little slow on the uptake.
So I am wondering about how the wording of Starter Drax's Hadron enforcer interacts with a friendly mind control.
HADRON ENFORCER: Once per game, Give Drax the Destroyer a free action and choose an unoccupied square of clear terrain within range and line of fire. When you do, Drax the Destroyer can use Pulse Wave this turn as if he occupied that square.
THIS ONE NUDGED YOU TO JOIN: Mantis can use Mind Control as if she had a range value of 7. When she does, she may target an adjacent friendly character with the Guardians of the Galaxy keyword even if that character has Battle Fury. Characters hit by Mantis through Mind Control modify their attack values by +1.
If I did the free action with drax to pick a square then pulsewave, could i mind control drax and pulsewave from that square again?
If I mind control with mantis to pick the square can drax pulsewave from the square on his turn?
I am just curious what you guys think until WK answeres their forums more often.

Lets see...
1.Mantis uses Mind control on Drax.
2.Drax gets +1 attack and can then be given a free action from Mind Control so he chooses Hardened Enforcer which lets him choose a square to pulse wave from this turn as if he occupied that square.
3. Mind Control Ends and the +1 attack goes away.
4. Drax still must be given a normal action to use Pulse Wave. (Ruling Here)
All Mantis really does is give you an extra use of this "Once per game" power.
He can use Pulse Wave as if he occupied that square the entire turn. Free action pick a square, ranged combat action Pulse Wave, Mind Control to Pulse Wave again.

Yes. The friendly mind control would allow drax touse Pulse Wave again.

You would be able to pick a different square. However that would consume that free action from mind control so you would need a second character that can do a friendly mind control on him in order to use PW a second time. Or any other game effect that allows him to be given a ranged combat action as a free action.

right but you have to friendly mind control to use the once per game effect again.
So with one mantis and one starter drax you can get off 3 pulse waves which is what I was thinking it could do.

I hope you're not implying that you would be allowed to use it 12 times in a game in that instance.
You can only use it once per game with him, and then once per mind controller that hit him, for a total of 7 uses, no more than that.
See flatfootedboy's reply for where more pulsewaves come from.

I think you may have misunderstood what he said. Each Mind Control user can force Drax to use Hadron Enforcer once per game. Drax can use Hadron Enforcer once per game. Using mind control on Drax does not reset the fact that he has used Hadron Enforcer.
Therefore, Drax + 6 Mind Controllers = 7 uses of Hadron Enforcer in one game. Period.
The only exception here is if an enemy character uses Mind Control on him, in which case your opponent can use Hadron Enforcer once per Mind Controller.
[Edit]: I'm more tired than I thought I was, just ignore everything I said in this thread. After reading through a second time I saw no mistakes in any of the replies.
So best way is
1. Start of turn Drax free action choose a square.
2. Mantis Mind Control and make Drax use Pulse wave from square at +1 Atk.
3. Then use Drax and Pulse Wave also with a +1 Atk.
Mantis' special power retains the +1 Atk after the Mind Control action for the original pulse wave is used. It doesn't say it ends after the action. (Technically it never says when it ends)
So if that stands, if you run a multi Mantis team with Drax, by Mind Control -> Pulse Wave #3 the action would be at a +3 Atk.
This is unless there has been a ruling stating that this isn't the intended use of the nudge.

I think the intent of the power is that it ends after the mind control is done. See Brother Voodoo's Trait.

MY SPIRIT BROTHER POSSESSES YOU: When Brother Voodoo has exactly one action token, he can use Mind Control as a free action. He takes no damage from this use of Mind Control and he and his target modify their attack values by +1 this turn.
With that wording, Brother Voodoo's target retains the attack until the end of the turn. I do think the intent was that Mantis' power would only work during the MC action, but I guess we'll have to wait for an official ruling from WizKids

Stat Modifications only last for as long as the power that provides them. If a power that is providing a Stat Modification does not state a duration then it only lasts for the duration of that power. Since Mantis's power does not stat a duration the +1 attack is only for the duration of the Mind Control.
