Is this the first character since the introduction of the Damage Depletion Modifier to have a special ability that allows them to specifically ignore it?
The official "Make Capt. Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew" rep. All other Zoo Crew fans, get in line behind me. There’s plenty of room for all of us.

No, due to the Player's Guide the Captain America and Black Widow duo ignores the damage depletion modifier during one of their special powers.
Shame about the wording of the Speed Force trait, it would have been nice to charge in and quake and get more than one speed token the same way that zombies or BL Spectre's steal energy do with pulsewave.
Also hope no one misreads the Human Tornado trait and think it's just a free action like fantomex where it actually needs to consume 1 speed token.
Mid-dial if you have more than 4 tokens I would expect that you'd be wanting to be skirting around a little bit while hopefully maintaining a boosted tornado token.
But really that triple stop click has potential to be really devastating, maybe even better to roll the 2-3 to get to the click 8 sooner, I have a feeling the lack of penetrating will be THE crippling factor to their playability...
Played them twice so far… Huge Fan! Probably my favorite piece from the set so far. Potential for 5 Charge and quakes in 2 turns.
Charge quake, pop speed token make tornado, tornado charge quake.
Next turn quake with tornado to push and kill it. Charge with duo and quake again pop second token for new tornado, charge and quake with it. (5) This has been so nasty for me
Even when they miss they are super hard to kill with the SS, Sc and Stop clicks
Made a legion of super heroes team with tornado twins, rond vidar, computo, cosmic boy and a possession on cosmic(black hand) with a small battery with no spectrum (green battery+white ring :( ). Tornado twins did great held out very well with computos outwit allowing for tornado and their token to let that quake strike home. After they hit with a well placed cosmic I was able to TK tornado back and rond up, rond would take and attack and then side step into hindering. Off topic lmao but tornado twins I was able to avoid 4 attacks before taking a hit and before they did between them and the token they had dished out 12 clicks which was 2 sets of run up attack and split token. That being said they missed a decent amount of attacks too, lack of my teams perplex and prob didn't help anything lol. Team was 500 points.
I'm confused by the defense power. It says 'when this click is first revealed, does that really mean it's a triple stop click? Seems like it should say "when this power is first revealed. Also, if I heal up and then click back into that power….on a click I've already landed on, it wouldn't stop, right? Since this isn't the 'first' time this click is 'revealed'?

Its not referring to the power, its referring to the click itself so each click would be unique as you would be hitting THAT click for the first time. And the answer to the second question is in the SP "The Many Deaths of Don and Dawn Allen" the power states "Tornado Twins can't be healed and this power can't be countered or ignored." They can't be healed so they will only ever get to hit each click once and can never be healed on one of there stop click dials.
Since their defense power triggers each first time that click is revealed, would you roll the d6 again each time if you got 2-3 on each roll, thus revealing each successive click? Just played this figure for the first time recently, and although they were extremely potent, I got a little confused on how the defense special was supposed to manifest itself.
