LOVE: If this character already has the Star Sapphires keyword, modify all of its combat values except damage by +1. Otherwise, this character has the Star Sapphires keyword, the Mystics team ability, and can use Shape Change.

Let's say the character using the effects of this Ring already has the Star Sapphires Keyword. All combat values except damage are modified by +1. Ok, understood. Would they also get the Mystics TA and get to use Shape Change in addition to the stat bonuses?

No, they would not.

This pretty clearly explains it.

And that's likely why they didn't post it... they have this annoying habit of ignoring questions that have been asked and answered already without responding to the asker to tell them it's already been answered. It's like they assume everyone knows you're supposed to search for your answer first and/or that you'll know by them not responding to your answer that you'll have to search for it.
Yeah... definitely annoying, but at least we have the Realms where even the questions that were answered within the question are answered.


But the others are right on the ball... all of the rings will give the +1 stats to those with the keywork OR the rest of the stuff to those without the keyword (which sucks for the Sapphires without SC/Mystics at the start, Green Lanterns without Willpower, etc, but they get the +1 stats so it's not a total loss).

Easiest way I've heard, is if they have the keyword, they get the first half of the card. If they don't have the keyword, they get the second half of the card.

I searched for an answer on the WES site for this or any Ring and couldn't find it. They had questions on Rings, but not similar to mine. That's why I was puzzled as to why it wasn't posted.
