So, I made a few dials based off of holiday versions of some Marvel characters and I promised a story to describe them. If you guys want the story to continue, reply to the thread.
The Christmas War
Dear Peter Parker,
I am having quite a bit of trouble with some villains out in the North. Some of them just so happen to be villains you'd normally fight, and their attacking the Workshop. The Holiday Elves are holding the line, but I don't know how long they will last. I have sent you this request, along with a couple other heroes, to come to my residence at 1225 Snowdown Street, North Pole for a meeting of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. It is of dire importance.
Yours Truly,
Santa Claus
Peter didn't know what to make of this. How had this letter found his doorstep, and how did it know he was a hero? He had never revealed his identity to anyone, and this message was addressing him, as a hero. How did this person know Peter? Peter was about to throw the letter in the trash when an explosion sounded at the front of his home. He ran for his room to slip on his costume, and jumped out the window. Outside, Electro was causing the wires of the house to short circuit. Fires grew through out the house, and Spider-Man charged at Electro. Electro had not seen Spider-Man jump out the window, and so he wasn't prepared for the charge. Peter punched and kicked at the villain, and Electro eventually collapsed. Peter made in anonymous call to the police and swinged off. The only thing he had left was this letter and Mary Jane. Now, all he needed was a ride, and he knew exactly where to get one.
At The Avenger's HQ
The Headquarters was filled with hustle and bustle. As the Avengers rushed through the building, making their holiday plans, three of the heroes called in the Quinjet. Tony Stark, Captain America, and Bruce Banner had received a letter from an entity as old as humanity, and it needed help. As the trio boarded the Quinjet, a red face peered through the glass of the Quinjet's cockpit. It was Spider-Man, and he just found his ride. Spider-Man was about to ask when Tony took the paper out of Spider-Man's hand.
"So, you got the invitation to? Great, another hero we have to carry along with us. Just, sit in the back, and don't make any smart comments." Tony said. Spider-Man entered the Quinjet and did as he was told, shockingly. Then, the Quinjet lifted off, and rocketed towards the North, to the Meeting.
In the back, sat a quite angry looking Wolverine on the left, and on the right, was The Winter Soldier, asleep in a stasis tank. Obviously, Spider-Man wasn't the only hero to receive the message. At The Northern Hemisphere
The Quinjet landed on a remarkably large sheet of ice off of the shore of the North Pole. All of the heroes were unloaded along with the Winter Soldier's stasis tank, and Tony brought the ship up, and flew off, back to the Headquarters to plan for his vacation. The frozen wastes glowed in the starry night. In the center of the tundra where the heroes were dropped off, a red light glowed off in the distance. The Workshop was off in the distance, and fire was ravaging its wooden walls. Doctor Doom had made his entrance into the Workshop, and his goal was to gain the magic that rested in the ancient building.

And so he left, with terrible power in shaking hands.
