This kind of thread has probably already been posted but its always good for us to have a geek out!! 😎
Just wondering what are everyones ideas for future Dm!!
(I know it will not happen) but hopefully as the games popularity grows (which in my experience it is!) that like Heroclix the sets branch out to give us more of the rare characters. Im a fan of the Winter Guard and being able to put them together in Clix was great! (I don't think i've won with them!) but still!!!! 😎😎
(More likely than my winter guard) Given the Secret Wars this year, i think that will be a set at some point. So which versions of everyone would we like to see?
They will have to. There are only so many colors they can do for characters so it will have to come to that eventually. Here's to hoping for every lantern corps and X force!
Star Trek, hadn't even thought of that bud!! How am i gonna afford all that!!!! 😎😎
Already thinking D&D, and DC and as a Marvel Fanboy...
Oh well my wife and girls may not be talking to me when we can't afford anything but i have nice new dice!!!
As a different question, any game mechanic ideas anyone would like to ser added? I already said it on another thread but i'd like to see a move to keywords or the like for a more 'cannon' creation of teams etc! If we get a star trek set, a ship and captain system, similar to the current team up system maybe?!??

Star Trek could be an interesting twist, because you could make Star Trek into it's own variation on Dice Masters. Instead of Basic Action cards, use actual Ships and instead of buying dice from them, you buy dice FOR the ship, improving it over time.
It would be more complicated, but it could be a great game if done right.
I'd rather thay make all new dice. I was pretty let down to see that thw new magneto, cyclops and such all had the exact same stats. That alone made me reluctant to buy more and continue playing
I am cautiously optimistic for the D&D Dice Masters. And if it works well at all (thinking here about the supposed mechanic to simulate experience and leveling-up), there is tons of potential there.

Hmmm, a ship-building game ... interesting structure/concept.
But sounds like Ascension with its constructs. Or Star Realms.

Yeah, this practice as a standard will really ruin the game for me. I don't think I mind having them reused once. But those reuses would be better served if they were more than one set apart.
As it is, it's like Heroclix fast forces/gravity feed. You get 3 at once, when one would be fine, and another a few months later would refresh the character. Like how the monthly prize kits are in clix. They are finally figuring that part out.

Better yet, do something similar to attack wing. You choose a ship to play overall, and then each card represents a crew member or upgrade to your ship. The characters would be the people rather than the ships themselves

I was surprised by this as well. I honestly would have preferred no repeat characters at all. I mean we're two sets in and I think there are 10 different Wolverines with two different dice. If the dice aren't interchangeable across sets, they should have different stats, the same way Heroclix represents a character at a different time than the last time it was clixed.

Yeah, but that's the same formula clix followed for years. In the early sets, there was always a wolverine, daredevil and Elektra - sometimes multiples. (I think there were a couple other characters like that too, it's been too long. )
They also had REV and Unique back then, so you were usually getting three or four copies of the same character in each set.
Not saying I think it's a good idea, just saying there's a precedent.
