Lets say I'm attacking Raiju with Scunner on his final click.

Does the mystics damage take effect before the steal energy causing my Kaiju to be KO'ed?

Does the steal energy take effect before the mystics damage allowing my Kaiju to live?

Does heroclix not have specific timing rules and assume that 1-1 is 0 so nothing happens at all?

I don't want to take this to wizkids forums because the answers I see apply to very specific questions. I don't care if the kaiju lives or dies. What I want to know is the timing of the effects because all of the following are affected by the answer:

If a game ends on a given attack or not.
If effects that key off healing happen or not.
If effects that key off damage being taken happen or not.

Both of those efferct trigger at the time damage is taken, so they are simultaneous. And when there are simultaneous effects, the active player chooses in which order to resolce them.

What if you take mystics first and lose steal energy?

Looks like steal energy would have already happened. Basically the way it would resolve for the specific situation above is this:

Damage from the attack causes Steal Energy and Mystics to happen at the same time.

You to take damage.
I choose to gain life from steal energy.
Then for me to take mystics.
Any abilities that trigger off any of those now do so.

Scunner remains on his last click, Raiju takes attack damage.

Well, I mean in a scenario when you're on your first click. You'd want to take mystics then steal energy to get back to click 1. But would you lose it because you take mystics and steal energy is no longer showing.

It has already triggered. You aren't checking the dial on click two, just waiting for the heal to resolve.

Like Ace0Spadez83 said, the affect of Steal energy already triggered so you would heal even if you lost SE on your next clix.

In case you are wondering, if you have flurry and hit a Mystic character, you are still allowed to do the second attack (even if you lose flurry) because you activated flurry and you get to resolve all actions of that activation.

Same thing with Hypersonic Speed. If you activate hypersonic speed and you hit a Mystic character, even if you no longer have HS you can finish your movement.

Not quite. Something does happen. The dial is turned to a click and then clicked back. Which can be important.

E.g. the character with steal energy also have Outwit. If it has used outwit and then heals, with Steal Energy, to a click without outwit then counter of the power will end immideately as Outwit is lost. And the power will not be countered again when mystics activate bringing the dial back to the click with outwit.

Right, because outwit was lost on the healing click. Or damaging click, whichever. If outwit was lost during any healing or damaging. I got that. Thanks.
