On a side note, when WK announces in August that the culmination of their annual championship series will be held at the beginning of June, would I be justified in griping if I decide to take a gamble in December by scheduling a "major" event right in the middle of the weeks leading up to that championship only to later learn that WK *gasp* scheduled a championship series event on the same weekend or would that be completely and totally on me for taking that gamble in the first place?

Does it make a difference if said events are on opposite sides of the continent?
