Congratulations to mab104 and mrush, our "Hammer of Thor Pick-a-Fig" contest.
Our mystery figure was Owl!
mab104 posted first, but got the name of the figure slightly wrong, but it was obvious to Dylan and I who he meant. Then mrush came in and guessed the character correctly. So we decided to name both of them as our winners!
I'll be contacting you both via PM to get your shirt sizes and mailing addresses so that I can get your prizes out to you ASAP.
... making Budapest a sortof running theme for this week's episode
another great ClixCast. can't wait to hear your opinions on the gf of AoU. I'm so glad to finally get a new Hulkbuster with some sweet powers, but I'm most pumped to play the new Hulk (rage tokens looks pretty fun to me).

I've been doing my best to make all of our closing songs tie into the episode in some way. Some are more subtle than others.
This might belong in the Rules thread so I apologize.. but just to be clear.. when the Starter Hulk came up, and the Initiative TA was discussed. If Hulks power says "can use" Battle Fury, he can still throw objects right? Making the TA somewhat more useful, if so lol Also makes him a good pal of Mole Man if Im correct haha

No. "Can use Battle Fury" means that he has Battle Fury. No ranged attacks for him.
Been a minute and I dont play as regularly.. I just thought "can use" worked the same as when you wish to Outwit powers.. that since they dont "Possess" them, it was sort of optional I guess. I stand corrected lol
RE: Hulk + Battle Fury + Avenger's Initiative TA discussion.
Not a completely useless combo (as was mentioned). Hulk has symbol, and for his Giant Reach ability to work he must draw line of fire to characters 2 squares away.
So, in the situation where a character is in Stealth 2 squares away, Hulk may still draw line of fire and smash the stealthy bastard with a close combat attack.

From 2014 Heroclix rules book p. 18

When a power or ability indicates that the character “may” do something, that indicates an option that the player of that character can make when the situation presents itself. Other than that, powers and abilities are not optional. A special power that says “Character can use Blades/Claws/Fangs and Stealth” does not allow the character to choose whether or not it is using Stealth (since that standard power’s description does not use the word “may”) but does allow the character to choose when it will roll a d6 for its close combat attack (since the description of that standard power does use the word “may”).
