I've run one mafia game in my life. Back in 2007.

I'm wondering if I should bother with a sequel, or to go for a reboot.

It's a Fantastic Four mafia, so neither option has been stellar for the franchise.

Can't be any worse than the most recent movie.

Not unless you used to have a different name. MSU somehow won it (among others), even though he was dead for most of it. In an amusing twist, two guys with Doom related usernames were on the Fantastic Four.


Also, I screwed up massively at the end, and I think it left some folks dissatisfied.

Just a continuation from last thread: the sports - especially NFL Network's shows like "A Football Life" - was about the only thing I missed while "cable-less". Otherwise between Flix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime and HBO Go I was pretty set...

...and rarely watched it. (I prefer a movie to, say, marathoning a series).

I ain't never done no Doctor Who Mafia. The only Doctor Who I've ever watched is The First Doctor, because I decided if I was going to give the show a chance, I better start from the beginning. I trailed off somewhere in the second season.

That's a pretty good summary. I'd love to buy a brick or case of the Superman/Batman or the Superman/WW set. I probably still won't but only because of budget. I know I'll end up wanting lots out of both sets.

I haven't had cable in several years. Netflix and Hulu have covered most of everything. For other things not covered by that we've either watched at somebody else's house (Walking Dead) or picked up online of after its come to streaming. Hence why I've seen the first season of Shield and Arrow but not the second of either. I can afford to wait.

And I have no regrets. Cable is stupidly priced, and even when we had it we didn't watch enough to justify the price.

That's actually probably worth looking into. A co-worker just gave me a spare chrome cast, which I was considering using instead of our ancient wii. I haven't had a chance to set it up and try it out yet though.

Oh, then nevermind. I was thinking of the one where I was Namor.

And no, I try not to think of my first mafia game. I made so many screwups that game... but, it was my first and I had no idea what the hell was going on.

(Plus it was a Doctor Who game with a ridiculously overpowered town, which seems par for the course in those for some odd reason...)

Were you formerly TMNT99? He was Namor in that game. And I think he got moidelized by Annihilus.

I'm still not sure if my first game was well-balanced or not. No one seemed to complain about it that part, though.
