Rules Stolen from gfishfunk and tweaked a bit. 1) A full writeup of the rules can be found here: http://www.mafiascum.net/
2) When you vote, please do so by saying Vote: [Player] in bold. If you wish to change your vote, please say Change Vote: [Player] instead. Voting for 'No lynch' is a valid vote; if a majority votes for 'no lynch' then nobody will be lynched and we'll move on to the Night phase. You can vote for yourself if you choose, so be careful when leaving your vote with another player. 2b Please vote in a separate paragraph from any other writing. It helps the mod find and tally your votes more easily and prevents mistakes in that arena.
Example:
I think XXOO is scum because of XXOO reason.
Vote: XXOO
Note the separate paragraph with the post.
3) Every night you either PM me your target or PM me that you are choosing not to do an action. Some roles REQUIRE you to submit an action or target--so keep that in mind.
4) If you fail to send me a target, I'll pick one randomly. Or, perhaps, not-so-randomly. I tend to pick in favor of those who participate...plus I can be a bit of a sadist in this regard.
5) You may NOT send a PM to anyone about this game unless your role explicitly says you can. This is cheating.
6) Do NOT edit your posts in this thread. This is cheating and grounds for revocation of powers or a modkill.
7) Please do not copy-and-paste anything from any PM I send you to the thread. This is also cheating. Also, do not share your role submissions. This is frowned upon
8) Please do not post in this thread after you are killed. This, too, is cheating and can ruin the game if done wrong. Additionally, there are several possible resurrection mechanics that exist which may or may not come in to play. I do allow a one-time “Nuts, Good luck all” type post, but that is it.
9) Remember, it's just a game. You will get paranoid, you will be stabbed in the back by someone, you will see somebody do or say something stupid and want to smack them. Just breathe deep and relax. You win some, you lose some.
10) If you are inactive for more than two phase cycles, I will automatically look to replacing you. If I cannot find a replacement, I will start selecting random targets for you. This includes day phases. If you do not post during one day(except for possible silenced folks) and submit an action in the following night, I will replace you.
10A)Randomization procedure. Each of you are assigned a number, the number that you are listed under in the player tracking post. Your number does not change. If an action is randomized via an in-game action, I use random.org until I get a living player's number. If I randomize due to non-submitted actions, I will use random.org and obtain two valid numbers. I will then use the one most detrimental to the player in question or most amusing to the mod.
11) I am planning on a 48 hour to 72 hour cycle: 24 - 36 hours for a day or night phase depending on weekends. I will state the time length in the thread and it is your duty to ensure your actions are submitted on time. If they are late, it is up to my whim on whether to accept them. See rule number four for an insight into me.
12) gfishfunk's(and IR’s) Order of Operations- or "solving paradoxes consistently"
Jailkeep > Guide > Busdrive > Roleblock > Misdirect > Push > Hide > timestamp > all other actions.
This schematic only matters where a conflict would occur. Guide is listed nearly first to indicate that a guided action will pierce anything except jailkeep. Timestamp refers to whoever submitted their actions first.
Example: Jim RB Lolita, Lolita MDs Jim. Jim will succeed.
Example: Jim busdrives Lolita and Shaniquq, Rei busdrives Lolita and Tim. Alfanso attempts to nightkill Lolita. Who will die? It depends on which busdrive happens first. The timestamp on the submitted actions will determine. If Jim submitted his action first, then Tim will die.
13) Meta-gaming is as acceptable as other players believe it to be. They will likely lynch you or night kill you in a different game. Who am I to define the right or wrong way to play? Plus meta-gaming is the only reason I play half as well as I do on occasion.
14) I am lifting my ban on TAK clauses for this game. I know that was a sticking point in the past so I am relenting. Play the game how you want just know that all actions carry consequences both good and bad.
15) There is a mafia and it has a theme. Interpret that how you will.

Night 0: Memoirs of Déjà vu
The old man sat reflecting upon his life by the dying light of a fire and the twinkling stars of the heavens. What a time it had been. He had grown up a strong and good man. Over the years he had acquired many things. A wife, children, possessions, lands, and many other things. He was living the good life. Then the same thing happened in reverse. He lost his possessions, his lands, his children, even his health for a time.
A paragon of stoicism and virtue, he took both the good and the bad in equal measure. Despite what others told him to do, he remained steadfast and true to who he was. Perplexed, his friends even deserted him. No amount of suffering and misfortune could be withstood the way he had done it. And yet he did. His mental state staying as resolute and solid as if it have been forged in molten fire.
After a time, he started back up. He regained his health. He gained newer, better, and more possessions. He gained more children. He gained grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He coffers and life overflowed with abundance and fortune.
Sitting there, he chuckled to himself as he closed his eyes. He knew what was up with the world. He knew. Though he would never wake again, he knew.
Immortal_Raven is dead. He was Job from the Bible written by God.
Day 1 starts now. With 19 players, 10 is majority. You have 24 hours.
