I just realized that I forgot about Cold's trait when Iron Man attacked Heatwave.

The attack still hits: 9+3 (perplex x2, Iron Man's trait) - 1 (Cold's trait) v 17, or 11 v 17. The roll of 3,3 still hits.

But Heatwave only takes 4 damage. Iron Man's base damage of 4 was perplexed twice, but the BFC and Cols's trait reduce it by 2 for a wash. That also means Heat Wave is knocked back to A-23.
