This came up last week, but i know the answer so i'm just looking for confirmation.
Someone thought that he could use enhancement with dual incapacitate to give the 2 targets a clix each for damage and a token. Know i know that enhancement gives an 'extra' click of damage in a an attack, and i know that your damage is reduced to nothing for incapacitate.
Therefore, since there is no intial damage you cannot add an 'extra' click. The only way this would happen is if the guy rolled 12 and did one critical hit damage to add 1 click to that and give the 2 clixs, and one token(for a possible 3 clicks if they were both being pushed).
Can anyone confirm or deny this please.
P.S. This would also apply to mindontrol attacks.
400 points theme team required...titans, jsa, all-star? Or fantastic four? What to do?
Incapacitate and Mind Control are different in one way...
Incapacitate reduces your damage to 0. Mind Control does NO damage. This difference means that you can Enhance the Incapacitate attack and increase the damage to 1. 0 + 1 = 1 With MC, none + 1 = none. The only way to add damage via Enhancement (or SHIELD ability) to a MC attack is to roll a critical hit. The additional damage from the Enhancement CAN attach to the crit hit damage, so 1 + 1 = 2 damage to the MC attack!
Does that help explain it?
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
I disagree. I believe you cannot enhance an incapacitate attack because the way enhance is worded says you give an extra click, if you give no initial click how can you possibly give an extra?

You can add a click to 0, just like you can add a click to 1, 2, 3, or more. MC says it does NO damage, so even if you Enhance it, it STILL does no damage unless you roll a critical hit.
