do you need line of sight to any of you barrier squares?

i've heard conflicting stories on this and would like some help clarifying this.

also can you move and put up a barrier if you have running shot?....as it is a move action.

You do not need line of sight to place a barrier. You simply need to place atleast one square within the figure's range.

you cannot use running shot to move and put up a barrier. Running shot allows you to move up to half your movement and then make a ranged combat attack as if you'd given the character a ranged combat action. Since barrier is not a ranged combat action, its not an option here.

No, you do not need LoF to any part of your Barrier.

And no, neither Running Shot nor Charge can be used with Barrier.
