Much better than the Origin Unique. A Legion Flight Ring will give him Flight, starting Defend to maximize that 18 DV, plus provide end-dial Toughness.

Impressive... but... I'd be tempted at some points to pay the extra 20 points and take our dive-bombing friend from DC75 with that fantastic sculpt... don't get me wrong, this Kal is solid as a wall of titanium. just thinking in terms of versatility

Hmm, no flight or indomitable, doesn't start with a move and attack. Non range but great defense and attack values. Very balanced. Even has defend. Nice.
