They made their minimum goal, so we're getting at least three new episodes. And they also announced Jonah Ray as the new host, so that's pretty cool. I imagine we'll hear the casting of the new mad scientist soon enough.
Now I just want to know where these episodes will be seen.
I backed it, because the world is a better place with MST3K in it, though the odds of me ever having time to sit and watch the new episodes are pretty slim. I can't even keep up with regular television anymore.

And the cast is now complete. Patton Oswalt is on board as the new henchman and it's very likely we'll be getting six episodes of the relaunch.
That's perfect. What a cast!
I wonder if they'll do a premier party/screening of some sort of Meltdown Comics here in LA since it's the prefect meeting point of geeky goodness and comedy.
I just found out the revival will include Dana Gould, Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland and Rob Schrab (and probably more) all as guest writers. This is like a convergence of fandom all rolling together.
Well, they did it! They passed the 5.5 million mark to get the full twelve episodes and made a whole bunch extra to afford the bonus Christmas episode they tacked on.
*EDIT* I'm glad they made it, because this live telethon is a technical disaster so far.

I just saw this. So good. All incredibly funny/smart writers and perfect fits for MST3K.
