How would Lobo #WKD15-006 and his clones work with the red lantern poison from their ring? Would the lobo clones be able to use poison or can it be penetrating as well?
Quote
CZARNIAN REGENERATION: When Lobo takes damage from an attack, place a Drop of Blood token on his card. Give Lobo a free action and remove a Drop of Blood token from his card. When you do, place a Lobo Clone bystander token in an adjacent square as described on the back of this card. Lobo Clones replace their combat values with Lobo's current printed combat values and they can use any powers that Lobo can use.
Keep in mind the only POWER the Ring grants Lobo is Poison. All the extra stuff (getting the Keyword, dealing penetrating damage) is NOT a property of the power Poison. The Clones can use Poison, and only Poison. No extra bells and whistles.

Ah I figured as much. Thanks for the fast response!
I understand not getting the keyword but how is the penetrating not part of the power when it clearly states it is?
Poison does not deal penetrating damage. This is what Poison does (from the PAC):
POISON
At the beginning of your turn, give this character a free action and deal 1 damage to each adjacent opposing character.
See? No use of the word "penetrating" anywhere.
The RING makes the Poison penetrating... but the Clones don't have the Ring. All they have is access to any power Lobo can use. And that power is Poison: no more and no less.

A) If you're aware of WES *AND* have access to this website, you presumably could look yourself, no?
B) It doesn't really need a WES ruling. It's right there in the description: they can use any power Lobo can use. Poison is a power; the Red Lantern Ring isn't a power.
C) Oh my, yes. For those that don't believe their own lying, trouble-making eyes when reading
This could happen if, and only if, the ring granted a specific power, let's say, called "burning blood"
This is what it would look like
RAGE: If this character already has the Red Lantern Corps keyword, modify all of its combat values except damage by +1. Otherwise, this character has the Red Lantern Corps keyword and can use the power Burning Blood.
Burning Blood: This character can use Poison. When it does the damage dealt is penetrating
in my opinion it could use the entire power that lobo can use, it does not say 'can use standar power Lobo can use...', in the same way as Nick "balls" of fury prevents the use of an entire power, not only standard powers. At least, thats the way I undertand it

Actually it does
The second WES link shows that. Problem is what POWER is granted

The only named power is Poison
See my entry above how it would have to be to give penetrating poison
