I tried this in a game on Saturday and never actually got to use it. Mxy died before anyone targeted Xanadu or a JL Dark pal (they were up against Hydra, so they didn't really want to spend too much time adjacent to each other what with those Hydra's Reach traits). But still, I'm confident it could work!

That is the exact character that sparked the idea in the first place.
