I've been told it's impossible to make a competitive Sinister sindicate team
I have a majority of Sinister Sindicate pieces and have been challenged to make an actually competitive team with them (at any point value I choose) 9/10 people I've talked to say it can't be done... Not going to lie I'm struggling a bit and need some help....
here are the pieces I own
Check out this team from deep dish themes about zombie electro. Also the new LEs are pretty sweet with their special tokens. if I were to try i'd definitely grab them first.

THEME: Without a doubt, I would pick the Z-Virus team to use him with...hands down...unless I'm not in charge of making my own teams, that is. For those that don't know what I'm talking about, when talking with my brother (theavengerthor of clixcast), he mentioned that he was getting a little bored with what kind of teams he was making and that he thought the process was getting stale for him. He needed to refresh it somehow. I came up with the idea of doing an team building exchange program. For the entire month of January, I am building all of his teams for him and he is building all of mine. It's been a fun little experiment that has pushed both of us right the heck out of our comfort zones, but it's also gotten the creative juices flowing again. We both have a list of teams that we now want to try out as a result of this experiment. The first team that he built for me used this Electro, the new Dr. Octopus Monthly LE, Kraven the Hunter from the ASM set, Alyosha Kraven from ASM, and the Vulture who is also from the ASM set. It DEMOLISHED. If you've already listened to the most recent Clixcast, you've already heard him report how our week one teams did, but if you haven't, the basic idea is that Doc Ock removes his two tentacle tokens, Vulture then carries him and Kraven into the fight, and with a borrowed 11 attack and his own printed Outwit, Ock then does FOUR close combat attacks with a locked three damage. Not much can stand up to that for long. This Electro wasn't even the ace player on the team, but the stigma of zombies made my opponents THINK he was and they didn't know where the REAL power was coming from. It was a great team. THANKS, JERMEMIAH!

I only have 1 rule if it's not x-men I don't play it.
Sharing these two teams. You will need to pick up Venom LE #WKM15-007; and Pym Particles, since it appears you have the rest.
Syndicate (w/ Original Sinister Six ATA)
Venom WKM15-007 LE
Sandman (AvAs)
Vulture (ASM)
Electro (ASM)
Alyosha Kraven
Mysterio (ASM)
2x Mysterio dupes
600 pts
WKM15-007 Venom at 120
Maximum Carnage ATA
Sandman at 140
Vulture from ASM
Alyosha Kraven
GF Electro from ASM
Mysterio's at 70
4x Mysterio at 15 each
Pym Particles
(All clumped around Venom)
600 pts
Point build? Sinster Syndicate can be as somewhat competitive. Will it beat big tent pole figures? Perhaps not, but doesn't mean you won't go down fighting.
Let me list your best choices
-Vulture 61- Carrier and Great figure for tie up for a turn or two.
-Venom LE `120- Defend, Willpower (which most SS need), fun dial
-Hammerhead 93- Kingpin Jr for SS teams.
-Speed Demon 110- Hypersonic w/ a fun little gimic to deal more damage
-Any of the Deadpool set SS chases- All are good and I actually recommend bringing in venom with an id card instead of playing him on a team.
-Lizard 88 - Great for the point cost
-Alyosha Kraven 70- Free lion token and movement granted to figures with animal keyword (pairs great with lizard)
-Either Rhino from ASM- Both are excellent for the point costs, but I prefer the 99pt version. It has willpower and a decently long dial.
-Green Goblin M10 117- Penetrating Energy Explosion. Nough said.
-Dr. Octopus 121- Can perplex himself 4 times. I mean, come on? Sure he doesn't have a lot of damage, but w/ the SS team ability and alternate team abilities, you shouldn't have to perplex his attack up :D Plus his sculpt looks better than the modern one.
-Shocker 65- Just a great, cheap fig.
Okay Pieces
-Either Sandman- Both have their benefits, but aren't that great in a scuffle. I recommend using an ID card to bring one or the other in depending on your opponents team. However, don't pick a water map with the modern Sandman.
-Constrictor 110- I enjoy this piece, but requires proper setup. If you can pull it off, GREAT! I recommend giving him a try somewhere down the line.
-Either Electro from ASM- They aren't great pieces, but brings more range to a mostly non-range team.
-Any mysterio- All decent figs with different uses. Depends on what you need.
Don't recommend
Any SS piece past WOS. Just don't pack enough "oomf" to help you fight most threats nowadays.

Alternate Team Ability choices.
Original Sinister Six - bumps up attack, while also using SS to take better attack values from adjacent figs.
Sinister Twelve
If you know you will be playing against tentpoles, I recommend this for the easier attack boost.
"What about the reality where Hitler cured cancer, Morty? The answer is: Don't think about it."
Get the new op kit figs. They are busted. The wording on rhino appears to be a mistake but they haven't corrected it yet so enjoy +2 atk, dmg, defense and improved movement walls. If your opponent doesn't have precision strike mysterio is almost impossible to kill. If doc can get in on top dial around their support/soft defense he will make it a quick game.
Lizard, Alyosha & Speed Demon make a solid team with room left over for a resource (268 points base).
Seeing as this team is already golden age, there are all kinds of goodies to fill 32 points. In no tactics play, Jack O'Lantern would be an unexpected pick that strikes me as being a little better than Adrian Toomes because of smoke cloud and price. I do notice you don't have these figures, but Jack is the kind of figure people tend to give away because they never use (outside of very specific reasons like this team).
There is currently a SinSyn thread in general discussion. Its up to 4+ pages so some good stuff.
I love Speed Demon to reposition enemies and set them up for Rhinos charge and Shockers PB Incap special to keep them there for another charge.
Lizard and Alyosha combo well cause Lizards an animal.
The new Mysterio puts out the pogs w the TA to string AVs and get some free Incaps in for more control. Of course everyones crazy about new Ock but havent got one yet.
Venom has Defend top dial w 18 D and a special to further screw w positioning.
Will you use relic/resources? Lizard is sick w Angirs hammer.
Appreciate all the responses! Didn't expect to get any. To answer some questions Competitive at a local level not worlds lol. I don't really enjoy resources or relics too much I use them occasionally but probably not for this.
Lots of really great advice here and I'm getting close to making something thank you! I really do appreciate your feedback
That OP Mysterio is one of the most disgusting 50 point pieces I've ever seen. I'm actually planning on running him with Fury and NHPrime for the ROC limited format. As mentioned earlier, if they don't have precision strike, he's insanely tough to deal with. Plus, next to the OP Venom, they all have that sweet 18 defense.
