Can a fig. with Mind control and take control of two opposing figs. at the same time and have them both make attacks ?
Dr. Psycho
Yes.
MIND CONTROL
Give this character a close or ranged combat action (minimum range value 4) that deals no damage. A successfully hit target becomes friendly to your force. Each target hit may be assigned one action as a free action, immediately after which the target becomes an opposing character again. Deal this character 1 unavoidable damage if the successfully hit targets’ combined point value is 150 points or more.
Nothing in that description says "single target" or the like. In fact, in a couple places, specific reference is made as to what to do with multiple targets (each hit target, combined point value, etc).
Note that until they resolve their action they are friendly to you. So if you mc two, they would not be able to attack each other until one had resolved it's action.

Also, keep in mind that the MC'd targets return to their owner immediately after you've given them their free action. Which can make a huge difference in the order you need to do things to get the result you want.
If you MC 2 characters that are adjacent to one another, intending to shoot with one, and, say, Charge with the other, do the Charge first.
Of course, my favorite use of multi-target MC is shooting with one guy, then using the other 1-2 to beat him down. Or using one to Carry another to leave them both in a kill box.

Max's triple MC was so effective, we had to take a break from him for awhile at home games! Triple MC can be so effective or disruptive depending on which side of the table you are on! Sometimes making an attack roll to hit with MC and then another attack roll with MC'ed fig makes the sequence not always worth it but triple MC really changes though odds!
Also don't forget that if you mind control two targets, they're now friendly to each other (both are considered friendly to the mind control user, and therefore friendly to each other). That means they can't attack each other. However, they return to their original team as soon as they're given an action.

Or what this guy said . . .
