March started grimly for me, with SDSU being left out entirely and Vandy being murdered in the play-in game. Day 1 was pretty bloody also. I've currently got 12 points, 3rd in my league. Still, I'm glad to be back in March Madness!

Well, the committee screwed up big time this year on several fronts. SDSU, St. Mary's, Monmouth, South Carolina, Valpo, and even St. Bonaventure all had good cases. Michigan, Vandy, Pitt, and especially Cuse and Tulsa got lucky. I really love the double-standard with Cuse. They account for Boeheim being out but barely account for Vanvleet being out for Wichita State? Vandy's play in game was one of the easiest picks for me. Sorry. Wichita State when healthy is nasty. If it makes you feel better, CU choked yesterday. I picked them to lose mind you, but I always route for my home state.
As it is, my bracket is in decent shape. Only picked 3 wrong choices for yesterday and none of those impact my Sweet 16. Curious, who is your champion/Final Four, etc...
This year I went with my heart and not my head. (I only do one bracket, as I only have one Fantasy Football team -- I'm an all-in kind of guy.) I attended IU, so my Final Four is:
Kansas v. Oregon
Indiana v. Michigan State
Final:
Kansas v. Indiana
Champion:
Kansas
By the way, my wife chooses schools based on whether or not family members have attended there or (I kid you not) the strength of their Chinese history programs. On the latter basis, she picked Yale yesterday, thus earning her the style-points award for the best Day 1 upset pick of 2016.
MSU screwed me. But that's what I get for picking a school I have ties to I guess. Every year they burn me somehow. Not normally as bad as they did this year though.
If you let them kill your dreams, it'll haunt you.

The Indiana-Kentucky game took a lot of sting out of that crazy first round for me. Go IU! Based on its play last night, though, the UNC team is going to be a seriously tough nut to crack.
