If I pick up the envy relic with KC shazam, could I use the relics to change shazam attack, as its not a modification?

WE WILL MAKE THINGS RIGHT AGAIN: Shazam's combat values can only be modified by powers or abilities from characters with "Kingdom Come team ability symbol". Shazam's powers and abilities can only be countered by powers or abilities from characters with "Kingdom Come team ability symbol".

Envy relic
This character can use Energy Shield/Deflection and Sidestep. When making an attack, you may replace this character's attack value with one of its target's attack values.

Replacement values are not modifiers. Nothing prevents his combat values from being replaced.

replace is not equivalent to modify.

you can replace values, even if you cannot modify them.

So ESD won't work, but the attack value "grab" would.

Sweet I was pretty certain that is how it would work, but I wanted to make sure before I attempted it
