Question - Can KC figs placed at the start of the game be attacked?
We played a game the other day and I placed KC GL 6 squares away from my starting area. My opponent went first and tk'd his Supes out who then immediately KO'd KC GL. My question is, was he OK to do this or does first turn immunity apply ?
Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room !
FIRST-ROUND IMMUNITY
During the first round of the game, characters that have not been given an action, placed, or moved can’t be targeted by opposing characters, knocked back, attacked, or damaged, unless a game effect that does so specifically states that it occurs at the beginning of the game
Turn 1, unless the KC takes an Action OF ANY SORT the figure cannot be attacked/damaged/etc.
It's an interesting question, the first-round immunity allows for characters who have been placed to be attacked during the first round and the kc figs wording does say they are placed 6 squares away from the starting area at the start of the game.
I think the answer is in the wording of what happens when you put the rest of your figures on the map, are they placed or does it say something else?
He begins the game placed at least 6 squares from a starting area.
Quote
ISOLATED FROM THIS VIOLENT WORLD: Green Lantern begins the game placed at least 6 squares from any starting area and not adjacent to another character. While on click 11, he can't be moved or placed, and when he is the only character on your force or an opposing character critically hits another friendly character, you may turn him to click 6 and he can't be healed for the remainder of the game.
This is no different than all the other characters on your team. They are also placed before the game begins.
Step 3 of Preparing for battle (rulebook page 5)
Quote
The first player places all of the characters on his or her force on the map in his or her starting area. The player to the first player’s left then places all of his or her characters in his or her starting area. If there are more than two players, continue clockwise around the table until all players have placed their forces in their starting areas.
You will constantly pick up your characters during a game to look at or turn their dials; you may want to mark the square your character was in so that you always return it to the correct square.
Once Steps 1–3 are complete, play begins with the first player.
First Round immunity only cares about what happens during the first round.

So if first round immunity don't apply to that Green Lantern then it does not apply to any character.
