from my understanding, you can use these with the KC figs (correct me if I'm wrong please)
and to my understanding you DO NOT get the stat increases... HOWEVER... You can use the powers?
BUT... If you pick something like ESD,CR you don't get them since those powers are not on the dial/card... Same with Ranged and Close combat expert... too then?
What about Pulse Wave? Does my damage still lock at 1 with multiple targets? (This is me being a little facetious... but you know, it might be a good question)
The KC character will not modify their combat values, correct. Yes, that means powers like RCE or ES/D are largely ineffective if you get them from an Entity. There may be some reasons to use them (like prerequisites for feats), but most of the time it's a waste.
PW does not modify any combat values. PW replaces the damage value if LOF can be drawn to multiple characters; the KC trait has no effect on replacement values.

Could you imagine if you couldn't replace values on kc figures? Give spectre pulsewave with 12 range and 4 damage move him to the middle of the map and just nuke every one.

6 range.
The area of effect for PW is determined using the range value as a starting point, but the end result isn't actually the range value (nor is it a replaced range value).
So even if KC characters couldn't have their combat values replaced, PW's area of effect would still be half the range value.

A lot of people don't. But if PW's Area of Effect was a replacement of the range then you get some interesting interactions with some other effects. For example:
Nerkkod here normally has a 4 range, but in water terrain, he's got a 10.
So you're playing Nerkkod, he's in water, and you decide to use PW. Because of the way the Area of Effect is calculated, his PW AoE is 5 (half of 10). But if PW replaced the range value, as the active player you could decide the order of simultaneous replacements. You could replace his 4 with 2 (half of 4), then replace *THAT* with the 10... for a total of a 10 range PW.
PW specifically does not replace the range value to avoid interactions like that.

I was just thinking of Superman getting PW from an amalgam with NL or from Ophidian, then suddenly dishing 6 damage to multiple targets lol. I know someone is going to try this, this is clix after all... So I'm glad I asked, so I can reference this thread if this occurs locally.
