As a KC guy...looking to keep rolling in 2016. Hard to make it a third straight WS but I just hope they stay competitive and are in it til the end of the regular season if nothing else.
but will gladly take another trip to the postseason, too.
Thanks to a nice little run of playing the Braves, the Sox are currently just a half game behind the O's.
But of course, the best news is that the Yankees are still in last place as of this date.

Heh. "Last-place Yankees." I could say that all day.
The Red Sox are getting their act together. If they can keep up that amazing road record, this will be a good season for them.
Ugh, the BoSox pitching is killing me! The fact that they are still in the hunt is purely tied to their offense and Steven Wright. That being said, I hope they don't mortgage the future to get a "big-name" pitcher. They are not one piece away from anything. Let Pomeranz become accustomed and see what he can do, wait for Kimbrell and Uehara to come back, let Betts get healthy and then see where you are. If Price could find any consistency and look like his historical self, that would help immensely as well.
No doubt they are still very much in the hunt for the East title or the Wild Card, but they are looking too inconsistent to give me much comfort in the thought of them advancing much in the postseason.
All that moaning aside, I'm still watching, rooting, and hoping for a fun and deep run in the playoffs.
Prefacing this by saying I know there are Oriole's fans here but that was a nice two-game sweep by the Sox to take over second place in the AL East. The tough trip continues with a very quick turnover game at Detroit this afternoon but they are looking good right now. Starting pitching is looking much better which can only help the bullpen get settled. Loving to see the continued development of all the young players and Benintendi is fitting right in. Lot of good things to look forward to in the future and hoping that they continue this nice streak right into the playoffs.
